This guide will help you join and participate in Microsoft Teams meetings hosted by Unmutedco. Whether you’re a client, vendor, partner, or guest, we want to ensure you have a smooth and productive meeting experience.
Before You Join
System Requirements
Supported Devices:
- Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.12 or later
- iOS 12.0 or later, Android 6.0 or later
- Modern web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox)
Recommended Setup:
- Stable internet connection (minimum 1.2 Mbps up/down)
- Headset or headphones for better audio quality
- Webcam for video participation
- Quiet environment with good lighting
No Teams Account Required
You can join Unmutedco Teams meetings without a Microsoft Teams account. Simply use the meeting link provided in your invitation.
How to Join Your Meeting
Method 1: Desktop Application (Recommended)
- Click the meeting link in your calendar invitation
- Choose “Download the Windows app” or “Download the Mac app”
- Install Teams if prompted (one-time setup)
- Click “Join Microsoft Teams Meeting” again
- Enter your name when prompted
- Choose your audio and video settings
- Click “Join now”
Method 2: Web Browser (No Download)
- Click the meeting link in your invitation
- Select “Join on the web instead”
- Choose your preferred browser when prompted
- Enter your name for the meeting
- Allow microphone and camera access if prompted
- Adjust your audio and video preferences
- Click “Join now”
Method 3: Phone Dial-In
If internet connectivity is poor, you can dial in:
- Find the phone number in your meeting invitation
- Dial the conference number
- Enter the Conference ID when prompted
- Follow the audio prompts

- You can request a non-recorded alternative if needed
- You may leave the meeting if you don’t consent to recording
Data Privacy
- Meeting data is handled according to Unmutedco’s privacy policy
- Only authorized personnel have access to meeting recordings
- Recordings are automatically deleted after 90 days unless required for compliance
